Welcome to Ameron Hotel Flora Luzern!

 

For your smart stay we have collected all important information about our hotel. 

 

AIR CONDITIONING.

All our rooms are equipped with a centralized Air Conditioning System. Generally, our A/C is turned on during the summer months between May and October. While your A/C is running, please keep your windows closed. Once your window is open, the A/C will turn off automatically.

 

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE.

Check in time is from 3 pm and check out until 12 noon. Late check outs may be requested and are subject to availability and additional charges as follows: CHF 85,00 for check-outs until 6 pm and 100% of the room rate for check-outs after 6 pm. You may leave your luggage at the reception free of charge.  

 

BABY COT.

If a baby cot is available, it will be placed in your room free of charge upon request. Please contact reception (dial 91). You are in the need of a baby sitter? It would be our pleasure to assist you. Please note that this service is limited and charged separately. Please contact the reception for further details.

 

BAR.

Our Bar is located within our Brasserie Flora and is open daily from 10 am to 0.30 am.

 

BATHROBE.

A bathrobe and slippers can be delivered to your room free of charge. Please contact reception for further details.

 

BREAKFAST.

Our daily breakfast buffet is served in the Brasserie Flora from 6.00 am to 10.00 am, on weekdays and until 11.00 am on weekends and public holidays. Breakfast can, of course, be ordered to your room. Please read “Room Service”.

 

CAR.

If a car service is required or you wish to rent a car, please contact our reception for further details and assistance.

 

CHURCH SERVICE.

Our reception staff is glad to provide you with the different time tables should you wish to attend a church service.

 

CIGARETTES.

Cigarettes are sold at the reception desk.

 

CONFERENCE FACILITIES.

Our hotel offers you a choice of conference facilities. Please contact our reception staff who will be glad to direct you to our convention sales team (dial 91).

 

(CREDIT) CARDS.

The following (credit) cards are accepted: American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa, Postcard and Maestro. 

 

CURRENCY EXCHANGE.

Please contact our reception.

 

ELECTRICITY.

Our electricity system provides 230 V and 50 hz.

 

EMERGENCIES.

In case of emergency please contact the reception by dialling number 91. Our reception is equipped with a list of physicians and can assist with directions to the nearest clinics and hospitals.

 

EMERGENCY EXITS.

For your own safety please pay attention to the emergency exit signs located on each hotel corridor.

 

EVACUATION ROUTES.

For your own safety please pay attention to the emergency information displayed in your room.

 

FAX SERVICE. 

Any incoming fax received for our hotel guests will be delivered to their rooms (fax number is +41 (0) 41 / 227 66 77). Faxes can be sent via the reception. Fees will be charged to the guest invoice.

 

FIRE-EXTINGUISHER.

Fire-extinguishers are located on each floor, close to the staircase and elevators.

 

FITNESS / WELLNESS.

Unfortunately the hotel does not have its own gym. However, you benefit from a special price of CHF 20.00 for a day pass at our partner "Fitness Park National Luzern" (about 8 minutes from the hotel). The passes are sold at the reception. The offer includes also the access to sauna, pool and steam bath.

 FLOWERS.

If you wish to order flowers, our reception staff will be glad to assist you.

 

HOTEL RESERVATION.

Our reservation staff is glad to assist you with any room reservation within the Ameron Collection and Althoff Collection (dial 794, www.ameronhotels.com& www.althoffhotels.com).

 

INTERNET.

Our hotel offers free WIFI service in your hotel room and public areas. Please choose the provider Monzoon and then you will be transferred directly to the hotel landing page. Please “connect” and for security reasons you have to register with your mobile number to receive the access code. (enter your mobile number with the country code p.e. 33 6 86 77 96 85)

If you don’t have a mobile “click” on the text below and call the service number to receive your code and phone number for free access.

Our Team at the reception stays at your entire disposal for further assistance.

You can use Internet free of charge with the public PC at the lobby desk.

 

IRON & IRONING BOARD.

An iron and an ironing board can be delivered to your room free of charge. If you wish to have your laundry to be ironed by the hotel, it would be our pleasure to assist you. Please note that this service is limited and charged separately. Please contact the reception for further details.

 

ITEMS TO BE BORROWED.

Should you require additional items, such as extra pillows, blankets, adapters, umbrella, laptop etc., please contact our reception. This service is free of charge.

 

LAUNDRY SERVICE.

Laundry service is available via our reception. Please drop off your laundry prior to 8.30 am on weekdays at the reception and it will be returned the same evening. Laundry bags as well as a list of prices can be found in the wardrobe in your room. Your linen will be changed every third day and if you wish a service more regular, please contact reception.

 

LOST & FOUND.

Any lost or forgotten item will be collected and stored. Please contact our reception in case of a missing and/or found item. These items are kept at the reception for you.

 

LUGGAGE SERVICE.

We are happy to assist you with your luggage. Please contact the reception if you wish to store your luggage or if you wish to have it delivered to or from your room. Please note that this service is limited and charged separately.

 

MAIL.

Please drop off your mail at the reception. If stamps are required they can be bought at the reception too. Should there be any incoming mail for our guests, we will deliver it to the guest room.

 

MEANS OF PAYMENT.

The following means of payment are accepted at reception: CHF, credit cards, currencies (with exceptions).

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE.

Our reception staff is glad to provide you with the required information and will contact the closest physician on duty if necessary.

 

MINIBAR.

Our minibars are stocked with a selection of snacks and refreshments, which will be replenished on a daily basis. Charges will occur as per consumption and charged to your guest bill.

 

NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES.

Should you wish a local newspaper or a magazine please contact our reception. A selection of local and international papers and magazines can be bought at the kiosk at the exit of the Brasserie Flora.

 

PARKING.

Covered parking is available in the public garage next to the hotel. We grant you a special rate of CHF 21.00 per day tickets will be stamped and paid at the reception.

 

PETS.

Pets are allowed and welcome in the hotel lobby and in our guest rooms. A service fee of CHF 20,00 per day will be charged to your room bill (food not included).

 

PHARMACY.

Our reception staff is glad to provide you with information and directions to the closest pharmacy (dial 91).

 

PHOTOCOPIES.

Photocopies can be made via the reception and will be charged with CHF 0,50 per page. Colour copies are charged with CHF 0,80 per page.

 

RECEPTION.

Our reception is available 24 hours (dial 91).

 

RESTAURANT BRASSERIE FLORA.

Our Restaurant Brasserie Flora welcomes you daily from 6.00 am to 00.30 am, on weekdays and from 09.00 am to 00.30 am on weekends and public holidays. Experience uncomplicated French cuisine as well as the charm of Swiss traditional dishes from 11.30 am to 00.30 am, on weekdays and from 12.00 am to 00.30 am on weekends and public holidays. During pleasant weather we also open our boulevard terrace (dial 779).

 

ROOM SERVICE.

Meals can be ordered to your room between 6 am and 12 pm and are subject to an additional service fee of CHF 5,00 (dial 91). Warm dishes are served between 11.30 am and midnight. Of course, you can order your breakfast to your room as well. For further information, please refer to “Breakfast”.

 

SAFE.

Most of our rooms are equipped with an in-room safe. In addition you may use the hotel safe located at the reception which is accessible 24/7. This service is complimentary to you. The hotel management does not take liability for any valuables or cash left in the hotel room/hotel safe.

 

SAFETY AND SECURITY.

Your safety is important to us! Please pay attention to the safety constructions located on the back of your guest room door and the fire exit signs on your corridor.

 

SEWING KITS.

Sewing kits are available in your wardrobe free of charge. Should you require sewing service, please contact reception desk for further details. Please note that this service is limited and charged separately.

 

SIGHTSEEING TOURS.

Our reception staff will recommend destinations and sights and is glad to assist you with the booking of tours, as well as Lake Lucerne cruises.

 

SHOE SHINE SERVICE.

A shoe polishing machine is located in front of the elevator on floor 1-5. Should you require Shoe shine service, please contact reception desk for further details. Please note that this service is limited and charged separately.

 

TAXI.

If a taxi is required, we are glad to order it for you at the reception.

 

TELEPHONE.

To place an external call please press “0” to get the outside line, followed by the number. External calls will be charged as follows:

Local calls -               CHF 0,56 / minute                      Long distance calls -  from CHF 0,64 / minute

The amount will be posted directly to your room bill and shown as “telephone service”. The charges are depending on time of the day and distance. For detailed information, please contact the reception team.

 

TOILETRIES.

Toiletries such as shaving kits or dental care sets are available for you at the reception free of charge.

 

WAKE-UP CALL.

Please contact the reception should you wish to receive a wake-up call. By accepting your request we promise you the highest accuracy possible. However, we are unable to accept any claims in case of losses incurred related to the wake-up call.
